Description
The gate piers at the junction with New Road date from the early 19th century and are constructed from dressed stone, specifically ashlar. They are square in plan and feature channelled stonework. Each pier is topped with caps that have recessed rectangles and raised circular motifs, with chamfered tops that were likely originally topped with ball finials. These gate piers lead to the walled garden of Woolley Hall.
