Description
The gatepiers at the entrance to the Old Court House were built in the mid-18th century, likely around the same time as the 18th-century alterations to the Old Court House itself. They are made of ashlar and feature circular drums with moulded cornices and blocking courses, topped with ball finials. These gatepiers are included for their group value with the Old Court House.
