Description
Nos 20 and 21 Broad Street is a late 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall with attics, constructed in ashlar. It features a new stone slate roof adorned with three hipped dormers. The building is unified, with a moulded stone band separating the storeys. No 20 has two windows, while No 21 has one window, all set in plain reveals and fitted with double-hung sashes that include glazing bars. The central entrance is a 19th-century door with four panels and a rectangular three-light fanlight above. There is also an inset foot scraper. This building is part of a group that includes the Roman Catholic Church of St Augustine, the school, a wall and gate to the church school, and the wall and gate piers to the church, along with Nos 14, 15, and Nos 17 to 22 in succession.
