Description

The statue of the Honourable Frederick James Tollemache, Member of Parliament, was erected in 1892 and designed by George Simonds of London. It stands 10 feet 10 inches high and is made of bronze, costing £1,700. Tollemache (1826-1874) served as the Member of Parliament for Grantham and was a member of the Dysart family. The statue is located at the south end of St. Peter's Hill.
