Description

No. 44 on High Street is a late 18th-century building that stands three stories tall. It is constructed of brick and features stone bands that continue along the window sills. The roof is covered with pantiles and has a wooden cornice at the eaves. The building has one window with three lights, and the window on the second floor is semi-circular. There is a round-headed doorway adorned with keystones and a fanlight, which is dated 1784. The shop front has been modernized with a door-case that includes reeded pilasters, brackets, and a dentilled pediment.
