Description
No. 12 London Road is an 18th-century house that stands three stories tall. It is constructed of red brick and features a stone plinth, stone bands between the storeys, and stone rusticated quoins. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The building has five windows with glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches. The square-headed doorway is framed by a moulded stone architrave and includes a six-panelled door with a rectangular fanlight above. There are six steps leading up to the entrance, which has a hand rail. Inside, the house boasts fine mid-18th-century panelling, fireplaces, and a staircase.
