Description
Heath Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a partly hipped slate roof with two gable stacks and one wall stack, all having ashlar bases and renewed brick shafts. The building is arranged in a U-plan and is two stories high with a three-bay side front that includes a first-floor band. The central entrance has a half-glazed door, flanked by two late 19th-century canted bay windows with plain sashes that have glazing bars in the upper lights and hipped lead roofs. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sashes. All openings are topped with flat ashlar lintels that feature raised keyblocks.
