Description
The building at Heath Farm consists of a forge, waggon hovel, and loose boxes, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble with red brick and ashlar dressings, topped by a pantile roof featuring a single bridge ridge stack and a ventilated ridge. The structure is a single-storey, four-bay front. On the left side, there is a broad opening with a timber lintel supported by a cast iron stanchion, while the right side has three planked stable doors with segmental brick heads. The right gable includes a planked segmental-headed opening leading to a hay loft above the stable. The left gable features a planked door and a three-light window with plain fixed lights. Inside, the forge retains its hearth and chimney hood. This building is included for its group value only.
