Description

The lychgate is a war memorial dating from around 1918, constructed of red brick and wood. It features a gabled thatched roof and has parallel brick walls with low double wooden gates attached to the inner sides. Above the gates, there is a wooden frame with open cusped traceried panels, decorated with bands of foliate and castellated designs. The structure includes four-centred archways on the north and south sides, with a gable apex that also has open cusped tracery. On the north side, there is a niche containing a figure of a soldier.
