Description
This building is a barn located to the south of Oakleigh House. It dates from the mid 18th century, with some mid 19th century and 20th century alterations. The barn is constructed of red brick and features a steeply pitched roof made of corrugated iron. The south gable has a coped and tumbled finish, while the north gable is coped and patched. The barn is a single storey with a garret and has a three-bay west front. On the left side, there is a doorway that is broken down and partially blocked, along with two shuttered openings. The south gable end has a rectangular shuttered opening to the left, a blocked opening above it, and a small shuttered opening above that. Oakleigh House itself is not included in this listing.
