Description
The lych gate, located 85 meters south of the Church of Our Lady, was built in 1918 as a war memorial. It features a high plinth made of dressed stone and flint chequerwork, with a timber frame and a plain tile roof. The structure has a rectangular plan that is open through the center. Each side of the opening has full-height timber posts with a pair of gates positioned between the front posts. On each side of the wall, there are 6-light openings with diamond mullions and corner posts treated similarly. The posts are adorned with carved panels, and the wallplate includes an inscription. The roof is hipped and topped with a wrought iron cross. Inside, there is an inscribed copper plate.
