Description

The archway, located 20 metres south of The Vicarage on Scopwick Vicarage Lane, dates back to the 11th century and was relocated in 1848. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and features two ashlar piers with staff moulded corners, along with inner shafts that have moulded bases and plain capitals. However, the left shaft is now missing, and the archway above has collapsed. Originally, this archway was part of Kirkby Green Church and was moved to its current location when the church was rebuilt.
