Description

The lock to the south of Coggesford Mill Farm is a late 18th-century structure made of red brick and ashlar, with some 20th-century concrete additions. It features a large brick design with curved abutments and stone quoined gate recesses, although the gates themselves have been removed. This lock was constructed to allow shipping to navigate past the water mill.
