Description

This is a farmhouse and attached cottage, now divided into four dwellings. It was built in the mid-18th century and altered in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The building is constructed of limestone rubble with ashlar and brick dressings, and has a pantile roof with three ridge stacks and three gable brick stacks. Decorative brick dentil eaves add detail. It has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys high.

The east front has a three-bay farmhouse to the right. The central doorway has been blocked and replaced by a two-light casement window. To the right of this is a single two-light sliding sash window with glazing bars, and to the left a partially blocked opening containing a two-light sliding sash window with glazing bars, both under a large wooden lintel. Above are three matching windows with wooden lintels. To the left, and slightly projecting, is a lower cottage with a large three-light window, then two small fixed windows, and finally a two-light sliding sash with glazing bars under a segment brick head. Above are two matching windows.

The south front features a doorway on the left with a half-glazed four-panel door under a wooden lintel. To the right are two sliding sash windows with glazing bars, and above them, two matching windows, all with wooden lintels.
