Description
The pigeoncote and outbuilding at Birch Holt Farmhouse date from the early 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed from brick and feature pantile roofs. The pigeoncote has a square plan and stands two stories tall, with a single cart entrance and a 2-light casement window above it. The east gable of the pigeoncote has four rows of openings with landing shelves beneath. Adjacent to the pigeoncote is a single-storey outbuilding that has a plank door, and beyond it is a small lean-to. The building also has brick coped gables with kneelers and dentilated eaves.
