Description

This is an 18th-century pigeoncote with a stable and barn, altered in the 19th century. The pigeoncote, stable, and barn are constructed of brick with steep-pitched pantile roofs. The pigeoncote has dentillated eaves and tumbled coped gables, and is two storeys high with three bays. The east front has a central doorway with a segmental head, flanked by single part-glazed casements. Above the doorway are two round blocked openings, and above that, three tiers of pigeonholes. The north gable has a single blocked opening, and the south gable has two tiers of pigeonholes.

To the north of the pigeoncote is a 19th-century stable, constructed of brick with a pantile roof, and a single stable door. To the east is a barn, built in the later 19th century with three unequal bays. It features rebated eaves and, to the north, a single stable door with a segmental head. Above the stable door are two louvred casements to the left, and two breathers to their right. The east gable has a blocked opening above. Adjoining the barn to the east is a single-storey, four-bay stable with a garage door to the south, then a slatted opening, followed by two doors with timber lintels, and finally a stable door.
