Description
Poplar Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse located on High Street in Swinderby. The building is constructed of brick featuring white headers and red stretches, topped with a slate ridge roof that has two gable stacks. It has a three-bay, two-storey design and is double fronted. The entrance consists of a 20th-century glazed door with a rectangular overlight. To the east, there is a single plain sash window and a large 20th-century window. Above, there are three plain sashes, all set under segmental brick arches. Attached to the east is a lower two-bay, two-storey cottage that features a single segment-headed door and a two-light segment-headed casement window, with a single two-light casement above it, which has a wooden lintel.
