Description
East Hill Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse that was altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, featuring a front made of blue headers with red brick dressings, and has a slate roof with lead ridges. The building is two stories high and has three bays, with farm buildings attached at one end.
The garden front, which was originally the entrance front, includes a central full-height porch with a hip roof. There is a segmental arched opening with a keystone, leading to a two-light segmental head casement window. To the left, there is a three-light casement window above a wide eight-pane sash window. To the right, there is a two-light casement window above a four-pane small sash window. All the windows are set under segmental arches. The eaves are dentilled, and there are end stacks on both sections of the building. A farm building is located at the right end, and there is a lean-to at the rear of the left end.
