Description

The Church of All Saints is a church that dates from the 12th century, with later additions from the 13th century, 15th century, and a restoration in 1879 by J T Lee. It is built of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings, featuring ashlar quoins and a plinth. The roof is covered with plain tiles, and there are four ashlar coped gables with kneelers and finials on the nave, chancel, porch, and south chapel.

The church includes a plain 12th-century tower with a square-headed two-light window on the west facade and a single Y-traceried bell opening on each facade, topped with crenellations and pinnacles. The 19th-century north aisle has four two-light pointed windows and a blocked, re-used 17th-century doorway. The east side features three-light pointed windows, while the 19th-century apse has three lancets. The south chancel contains a single 15th-century two-light window, with three additional 15th-century two-light windows in the nave and similar windows in the south chapel. The 19th-century porch has a painted, moulded arch supported by short piers.

Inside, there is a three-bay 12th-century semi-circular north arcade and a 13th-century pointed tower arch. The north side of the chancel features a 12th-century semi-circular arch and a 13th-century pointed arch. The church has a 15th-century octagonal font and 19th-century wooden pews, pulpit, and choir stalls. In the apse, there are 19th-century wooden veredos containing two statues in niches. Notable interior features include a brass for the Disney family from 1741 and a wall monument from 1791, along with other wall monuments dating from 1766, 1781, and 1814.
