Description

No 22 Westgate is a larger house from the early 19th century, set back from the road. It has two storeys and is constructed of brick, topped with a Welsh slate roof and featuring stacks at the gable ends. The house has three windows with moulded wood frames and slightly segmental arches, although glazing bars are only present on one window. There is a canted bay on the ground floor, and the doorway is adorned with reeded pilasters and a simple hood, leading to a modern glass door. This property, along with Nos 2 to 22 (even), including No 20B, forms a group.
