Description
The war memorial, located 10 meters north of All Saints Church, was built around 1920 in a Gothic style. It is constructed from Portland stone and features a lead fishscale tile roof. The memorial has a square base with a single step and a square plan, showcasing an open pointed arch on each side except the west, which displays a plaque listing the names of those who died in the Great War. Each arch is supported by columnar responds and has a moulded arch with minor tracery, topped by a gable that contains a trefoil. The four gables are adorned with foliate crockets and finials, and small buttresses at each corner rise to form crocketed finials. Inside, there is a simple quatropartite stone vault with ribs, above which sits an ornate iron cross, supported by four curved ornate iron brackets that hold a central statue.
