Description
The Manor is a house built in the early 18th century with later additions. It is constructed from coursed limestone ashlar and brick, featuring ashlar dressings. The roofs are made of plain tiles and pantiles, with ashlar coped gables and two ashlar gable stacks. The building has a chamfered plinth and a double range plan. The front range is made of ashlar with a plain tile roof, while the rear range is brick with a pantile roof. The house is two stories plus attics.
The north front has five bays and a central doorway, which features an early 19th-century projecting gabled porch made of brick with an ashlar front and an ashlar coped gable with kneelers. The doorway has a chamfered four-centred arch and C20 double doors, with an inner doorway that contains a six-panel door. On either side of the doorway are two glazing bar sashes with ashlar lintels that have keystones. Above the doorway, there are five glazing bar sashes with plain ashlar lintels. The west front has a double gabled design, with a C20 two-storey bay window to the right, a small casement above it, and a small coat of arms in the apex of the gable.
