Description

The statue of Alfred, Lord Tennyson is located in Lincoln and was created in 1905 by the artist G F Watts, RA. It is a bronze standing figure accompanied by a dog, set on an ashlar pedestal that features plaques on the east and west sides. The pedestal is raised on an ashlar plinth consisting of three steps. The statue underwent restoration in 1970.
