Description
The Bath House, located inside the north wall of Lincoln Castle, is an early 19th-century building that now serves as an exhibition room. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble and features a roof that is concealed by a crenellated parapet, showcasing a Gothick style. The building has a chamfered plinth and an eaves band, with pointed arched windows that include hoodmoulds. It is a single-storey structure with five bays. The central three bays project and contain a chamfered pointed arched doorway, also with a hoodmould, flanked by single windows that feature wooden Y-tracery. On either side of the central section, there is a similar window, although the one on the left has been blocked.
