Description

This is a terrace of six houses, now used as houses, surgeries, and offices, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick with a stucco front, decorative dressings, and a hipped slate roof featuring three ridge stacks and a single side wall stack. The architectural details include a plinth, a moulded band at first floor level, and an eaves cornice.

The terrace is arranged over three storeys and has eleven bays. A projecting central section of three bays features a pediment and pilasters to the ground floor. A central, round-headed carriage arch, with a keystone and impost, is flanked by single canted bay windows. Corniced porches are located in the return angles, and further canted bay windows are positioned on either side, followed by projecting porches with cornices and square Doric pilasters. Each house has a door with six moulded panels and a fanlight. The windows are a mix of glazing bar sashes with moulded surrounds and cornices, with smaller sashes above. The rear elevation has scattered windows with segmental heads. The interior has not been inspected.

Externally, a coped dwarf area wall is present, featuring a spearhead railing.
