Description
No. 30 Newland is a house that has been converted into a night club with offices above. It dates from the mid-18th century and was altered in the late 20th century. The front is rendered, featuring slate and plain tile roofs along with a brick gable stack. The building has a plinth and two renewed coped gables, standing three storeys tall with four bays.
On the north front, there is a blocked basket-arched carriage opening with a keystone and imposts on the left side. To the right, there is a blocked doorway flanked by single glazing bar sashes. Above this, each of the two floors features four glazing bar sashes, with the upper ones being smaller. All windows are topped with rusticated multi-keystone lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
