Description

This is a two-storey building at 18 and 20 Upgate, dating to the late 17th or early 18th century. It has a pantile roof and a cement rendered front, designed to resemble stone. The front features three hung sash windows with glazing bars set within rendered architraves; a band continues as cills. A modern shop front has been installed. The building forms a group with numbers 16 to 32 (even) and the former Black Bull Public House.
