Description

No. 16 Upgate is an 18th-century building constructed of painted brick with a pantile roof. It has two storeys and features a first-floor band. The eaves cornice is supported by paired brackets. The building displays two hung sash windows set under cambered arches. On the right side, there is a modern shop window, while the left side has a carriageway beneath a lintel. Nos. 16 to 32 (even) and the former Black Bull Public House form a group.
