Description
No. 35 Eastfield Road is a house built in the late 18th century, with some alterations from the 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features painted ashlar dressings. It has a slate roof with two gable stacks and is two stories high with three bays, presenting a double fronted appearance. The central doorway is framed by pilasters and features a six-panel door with a fanlight above, all topped by an open pediment. On either side of the doorway are single margin light sash windows, which are set under painted ashlar wedge lintels. Above the doorway, there is a central narrow margin light sash flanked by two similar, but wider sashes. Inside, the house retains its original staircase and doors, along with a single 19th-century marble fireplace.
