Description
The Woolpack Public House is a public house built around 1790. It is constructed of red brick, which has been whitewashed on the main front. The building features a pantile roof with two gable stacks and is designed with three bays over two storeys, making it double fronted. The central doorway has a 20th-century door and overlight, and is flanked by single tripartite glazing bar sashes that sit under segmental brick heads. Above, there are three small glazing bar sashes, which have 20th-century louvred shutters. The Woolpack was built to serve the Louth Canal Basin.
