Description

Toll Bar Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on Horncastle Road. It is a single-storey structure with attics, built from colour-washed brick. The cottage features a hipped Welsh slate roof with wide eaves cornice and a multi-flued chimney. The layout is square, with a basement, ground floor, and attic. Each face of the building has segmental-headed dormers and casement windows consisting of four lights, set in reveals under flat arches. The entrance is situated at the northeast corner, positioned between two canted bays.
