Description
This is an 18th-century building with later additions, located on the south side of Eastgate. It comprises three properties, Numbers 118, 120, and 122, and is two storeys high, built of painted brick. The roof is covered with pantiles, and Number 122 features a brick eaves cornice.
Number 122 has three windows with small panes of glass. It has a late 19th-century shop front with modern glazing and an additional door to the left. Number 120 has a single window with small panes of glass and a small, late 19th-century shop front. Number 118 has two windows without glazing bars and a late 19th-century shop front. All three properties have tiled stall risers. Number 118 also has a passage door on the right side. Decorative lions’ masks are positioned on the eaves gutters of Numbers 118 and 120. A wooden eaves cornice is present. The building is listed for its group value, forming a cohesive group with numbers 114 to 122.
