Description
The Tackroom, byre, and barn at Manor Farm is a building from the 18th century, with some minor alterations from the 19th century. It is designed in an L-shape and constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The single-storey tackroom and cow byre feature a granary and pigeon loft above, with dentillated eaves. The two-bay cow byre has an open side facing the crew yard, supported by a central timber post and features a timber lintel. The front has five irregular bays, including an off-centre stable door with an overlight, a two-light opening to the left, a fixed light, and a door opening to the right with a shuttered opening beyond. The taller barn is positioned at right angles to this range and includes a later 19th-century double door on the left side within a segmental-headed opening, which is blocked at a taller opening. There is also a planked door at high level on the right. This building is listed for its group value only.
