Description
Bland's Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1779. It is constructed of red brick and features pantile roofs, with brick rumbled and coped gables that include kneelers and two gable stacks. The building has a T-plan and is two storeys high, presenting a five-bay front. The central entrance consists of a panel door with an ornate glazed overlight, flanked by two glazing bar sash windows. Above this, there is a plain brick band followed by five smaller glazing bar sash windows. All openings are topped with segment-headed painted wedge brick lintels. At the rear, there is a catslide roof with a single segment-lopped dormer window that also has a glazing bar sash. The east gable wall features an ashlar plaque inscribed with 'J.K. 1799'.
