Description

Mawers Farm is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with some minor alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of pale red brick and features a pantile roof with brick coped partially tumbled gables and kneelers, as well as two gable stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The eaves have a dog tooth course, and the central entrance consists of a half-glazed panelled door set in a wooden surround with plain pilasters, an entablature, and a cornice, flanked by single bordered sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. All windows have segmental brick heads made of smooth red bricks.
