Description
The Limes is a farmhouse built around 1810. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with stone-coped gables and shaped kneelers on the roadside gable, which is also rendered. The building has brick gable stacks and a parallel range with corbelled out eaves. It is two stories high and has a three-bay garden front. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with a fanlight above, set under a semi-circular brick arch. To the left of the door is a four-paned sash window with a shallow segmental arched head, while to the right is a pointed blocked opening. The first-floor windows are smaller four-paned sashes with shallow segmental heads.
