Description

The Hollies Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse constructed of red brick, with some painted stone dressings. It features a pantile roof with brick coped and tumbled gables and gable stacks, and has a T-plan layout. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a three-bay front that includes a first-floor band and eaves band on the return walls. The central bay projects slightly and contains a doorway with an overlight and a fielded panelled door. This doorway is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, with three similar windows above. All openings have segmental heads and raised, painted keystones. The roof includes three lead dormers with flat heads and single glazing bar sashes.
