Description
Lymn Bank Farmhouse is a cottage dating from around 1740, with alterations in the mid-19th century and the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof featuring brick coped and tumbled gables, dentillated eaves that continue as a band across the return walls, and a central 19th-century ridge stack. The house has a lobby entrance and is one and a half storeys high, with a three-bay front. The central doorway features a plank door, flanked by single 20th-century casements. All three ground-floor openings have segmental heads. Above the doorway is a small sliding sash window with glazing bars.
