Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory that has been converted into a house. It was built in 1810, with a mid-19th century addition. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, featuring stucco dressings. It has hipped slate roofs with overhanging eaves supported by paired brackets and three ridge stacks.
The front of the building is two storeys high and has five bays. The entrance is off-centre and is covered by a flat-roofed porch that has a parapet and ball finials. The entrance features a six-panel door with a plain overlight, set within a plain pilastered surround, narrow hood, and panelled reveals. The porch includes glazing bar sash side lights. To the left of the entrance is a single glazing bar sash window, while to the right are three glazing bar sashes. The first floor has five similar windows, all of which have splayed stucco lintels with panels.
On the side front, which has two bays, there are two tall glazing bar sashes on the ground floor. Inside, the building features a stick baluster stair.
