Description
51 and 51A High Street is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the mid-18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick with stucco dressings and features a slate roof behind a brick parapet.
The exterior showcases a three-storey, three-bay front with a modillion cornice. The ground floor was rebuilt in the 20th century after the removal of a shop front and includes a modern door and door surround. To the right of the door are two margin light sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, while the second floor has three smaller windows. All the windows are topped with flat brick wedge arches that have fluted keystones. The interior has not been inspected.
