Description
An early 19th-century warehouse, now derelict, located on South Square in Boston. The building is constructed of red brick in English bond, with parts of the exterior painted, and has slate roofs with half-hipped gabled ends. It comprises two parallel ranges.
The front elevation is three storeys plus attics, arranged with a 7-bay facade divided into two gables, the centre bay slightly recessed and under a valley. The brickwork below the first floor is painted. The ground floor has been altered, featuring a central arched opening flanked by a doorway, window, and further opening. Each gable has a hatch doorway on the upper floors, flanked by single 2-light windows. The centre bay on each floor also contains a single window. The riverside end mirrors this elevation. The long side elevation, of three storeys and 14 bays, incorporates 19th-century 2-light casement windows with brick segmental heads.
The interior remains uninspected.
