Description

The Golden Lion Public House is an 18th-century public house that has been altered in the 20th century. It features a rendered brick exterior with a concrete tile roof and two gable stacks. The building is two stories high and has a four-bay front with a moulded fascia. An off-centre door is topped with a cornice hood. To the left of the door, there are three 20th-century leaded casement windows, and to the right, there are two more. On the first floor, there are four plain sash windows with segmental heads. Notably, the front of the building leans inwards. The inn is recorded in the renewal list of licenses from 1784. The interior has not been inspected.
