Description
Bargate Lodge House is an early 19th-century house that has been altered around 1980 and is now used as offices. It features painted brickwork and a hipped Welsh slate roof with lead dressings and a single ridge stack.
The building has two storeys plus attics and a two-bay front, with a first-floor sill band and overhanging eaves. On the ground floor, there are two glazing bar sash windows, with the left-hand one located in what was previously a door opening. The first floor also has two similar windows. The right-hand side elevation has a pair of similar windows on each floor. In the roof, there is a single flat-roofed dormer. The rear of the building has been altered in the 20th century, with the original panelled front door now inserted into a new rear opening. The original door and window openings feature flat stucco wedge lintels with keystones. The interior has not been inspected.
