Description
Quayside is a house dating from the early 19th century, constructed of painted red brick with a concrete tiled hipped roof featuring a single ridge and a rear gable stack. The building has a modillion eaves cornice.
The exterior consists of two storeys plus attics, with a three-bay front. The entrance is off-centre and features a six-panelled door with a blocked overlight, set within a pedimented doorcase that has narrow pilasters, brackets, and panelled reveals. On either side of the door are tripartite plain sash windows. The first floor has a blank opening flanked by single margin light sashes. The roof includes two 2-light casement dormers with flat lead roofs. On the right-hand side, there is a tripartite sash window and a plain doorway on the ground floor, along with a plain sash and a margin light sash on the first floor. The front openings have flat wedge brick arches, while the side openings feature segmental arches.
Inside, the house retains some contemporary joinery.
