Description

Hussey Tower is a brick tower that dates from the late 14th century or early 15th century. It stands 12 meters high and measures 10 meters square, featuring an octagonal turret at the southeast corner and crenellated parapets. The ground floor is rib vaulted. Originally known as Benyington Tower, it was sold to the Corporation and dismantled after 1545 when Lord Hussey was attainted.
