Description
The stables and granary at Pelhams Lands Farm are a late 18th-century structure with some minor alterations from the 20th century. They are built of red brick in English bond and feature a pantile roof with raised brick coped tumbled gables and kneelers. The building has three storeys and a five-bay front, which includes brick dentillated eaves. On the left side, there are double planked doors set under a deep segmental headed arch, while to the right is a small circular opening. The first and second floors each have five segmental headed openings, with three of these blocked on the first floor and four on the second. Inside, the building retains original lime ash floors supported by beams on timber posts, and the roof is constructed with clasped purlin softwood.
