Description
Pelhams Lands Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with minor 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick in English bond and features a concrete tiled roof, raised brick coped tumbled gables, and two brick gable stacks. The building is L-shaped and has two storeys with a three-bay front that includes a dogtoothed eaves course. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door with an overlight, flanked by single plain sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, and all openings have brick segmental heads. Pelhams Lands were established following the draining of the Fens, a process enacted by Parliament in 1776.
