Description

68 Horncastle Road is a mid-18th century house constructed of red brick with a pantile roof, featuring brick coped tumbled gables and stacks. The building is two stories tall with a three-bay front. It has a brick band on the first floor and a dog-tooth brick eaves course. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with a radiating fanlight, set within a narrow pilastered wooden doorcase that has brackets and an open dentilled cornice. This entrance is flanked by single divided sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows, all of which have cambered rubbed red brick arches. The interior has not been inspected.
