Description
Ivy House is an early 18th-century house constructed of red brick, with some blue brick elements. It features a pantile roof and has two red brick gable stacks and a single rendered ridge stack. The gables are topped with blue brick copings and kneelers, and the eaves display a dogtooth pattern. The building is two storeys high with an attic and consists of four bays. There is a band at the first floor level. The entrance has a panelled door, with two glazing bar sash windows to the right and a single similar sash window to the left, each flanked by panelled shutters. Above, there are three similar sash windows, with a single blocked window opening to the right. All openings are set under segmental arches. The attic features two red brick and pantile dormers, each with brick coped gables and kneelers, and a small casement window. At the rear, there is a lower two-storey, two-bay wing.
