Description
Ashdene is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with two red brick gable stacks. The building has raised brick eaves with dogtooth detailing and is designed in a T-plan. It stands two storeys plus a garret and consists of three bays. There is a band at the first floor level and another band above the first floor openings. The house has two glazing bar sash windows on the first floor, and above these are two similar sashes with a single central small glazing bar casement. To the left of the main structure, there are single-storey extensions that include various 20th-century openings.
